They did however manage to secure a 2-0 victory over Inter in the Champions League in midweek, thanks to goals from Eden Hazard and Achraf Hakimi.
Meanwhile Alaves are 15th, but they are unbeaten in their last four games, having beaten Valladolid and then drawn three consecutive games against Barcelona, Levante and Valencia, so they may fancy their chances against the LaLiga champions today.
