T. Weah has scored a goal for PSG!
T. Weah gets yellow.
GOAAAALLLL 3-0 PSG!!!! Weah finally gets his goal after his narrow miss just moments ago but Samba pretty much gifts him the strike. The Caen keeper receives possession near his six-yard box but he thinks he has all day and Weah charges at him before making the tackle and bundling the ball home. Bizarre goal but they all count!
Automatic yellow card for Weah after he took his shirt off during that celebration.

PSG should really be four up by now but the second half has just fizzled out and that perhaps is expected considering it is week one.
84'
ACROSS THE LINE!!! - Weah nearly makes an immediate impact from the bench as he latches onto a pass and shoots across Samba. However, his right-footed strike hits the far post and trickles along the goalline before Samba dives to save the day. How has that not gone in?

PSG try to build an attack on the edge of the Caen box but they failed to find the killer ball that could split the defence. Instead they go from left to right before eventually winning a free-kick just yards outside the penalty area.
77'
T. Stavitski enters the game and replaces C. Ninga.
Caen winger Ninga has been a passenger for the majority of the game so Stavitski will now get the chance to prove he belongs in the starting XI.
74'
Unlike the first 45 minutes, Caen are now enjoying spells on the ball but that is mainly down to a lack of pressure from PSG.
72'
PSG are just going through the motions as they try to seal all three points without any hiccups tonight. Fitness could still be an issue for one or two and the intensity is higher than that of any friendly they will have played in.

Diarra makes way for Diaby and he receives a round of applause. Not the hardest night's work for him but he still did well to break up any Caen attack.

Deminguet has had a really quiet night and on comes Crivelli for the last 30 minutes.
61'
WHAT A SAVE!! Samba makes a sensational stop down to his right as he somehow claws away Di Maria's diving header. The winger looks stunned and rightly so that was a sensational reaction save.
59'
Approaching the hour mark and both coaches may now consider a sub or two as the tempo slows down. Caen have had to work so hard off the ball and it is bound to play into PSG's hands.
57'
PSG win back-to-back corners but can do nothing with either with the first being blocked and the second being caught by Samba.

OFF THE POST!!! Caen win a free kick on the edge of the box and Peeters decides to go for goal but the width of the post denies him. Buffon looked stranded and PSG's goal lives to fight another day.

Imorou will have his work cut out for the best part of an hour as he tries to help Caen back into the game and the visitors have made a decent start so far and are keeping the ball really well.
46'
E. Imorou enters the game and replaces A. Mbengue.

41'
CHANCE - Caen register their first shot on goal but Djiku will be kicking himself after wasting the opportunity. The visitors win a free kick and the defender peels away at the far post before producing a tame volley, with Buffon barely breaking a sweat to get down to it.
39'
Even without a host of their regular first team stars, PSG are a level above Caen tonight and there is every chance they double their tally at least.
38'
And with that second goal the crowd get even louder. This must be rather unpleasant for the Caen team.
35'
A. Rabiot has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by Á. Di María.
Former Real Madrid man Di Maria claims the assist and he deserves plenty of plaudits after that move. The pacey winger skipped past Djiku before finding Rabiot unmarked inside the six-yard box.
GOAAALLL 2-0 to PSG! Midfielder Rabiot cannot miss from close range but that was another devastating team move from the Ligue 1 champions. A mistake in the middle of midfield from Caen released Di Maria who teed up Rabiot at the back post.
33'
The noise levels continue to rise inside the Parc des Princes. What an atmosphere in Paris this evening!
31'

Another corner for the home side after a powerful run from Di Maria opens up the Caen defence. They decided to take it short and Bernede finds space to shoot but he cannot generate enough power and Samba makes a comfortable save.
16'
The former Santos man goes for the near post but Samba reacts well and thwarts the danger before kicking long down field.
15'
PSG win a corner with Neymar to take...
14'
Caen are really struggling to get out of their own half at present and that is allowing Silva and Marquinhos to sit on the halfway line and start attacks.

Hello and welcome to tonight's live coverage of the Ligue 1 encounter between Paris Saint-Germain and Caen. Both of these teams have been itching to get going and now we will get the first chance to see how Thomas Tuchel gets on in his new role in the league.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach will be under pressure to deliver in Europe this season but domestically PSG cleaned up last year. Kick off just minutes away as the home fans celebrate France's World Cup success as the trophy is paraded around the stadium. Striker Kylian Mbappe poses just weeks after his sensational performances helped Didier Deschamps' troops go all the way.
PSG deservedly lead by two goals at the break and both Neymar and Rabiot have looked sharp this evening. Tuchel will feel his side should have more goals to their name but he will also have expected Djiku to do better with his chance towards the end of the first half.
There are definitely signs PSG could grab four or five tonight but Tuchel may make changes which could alter the pace of the game. Caen need to regroup and keep their cool because it looks as if they need a miracle already in the second 45 minutes.
PSG get their title defence off to the perfect start in front of their own fans thanks to goals from Neymar, Rabiot and Weah. Tuchel also enjoys victory during his first Ligue 1 game and he will be delighted to see them blow off the cobwebs and produce the goods.
That is all we have time for this evening, we hope you enjoyed our coverage. Goodnight!
Tonight was always going to be a struggle for Caen and it proved to be the case but they will regroup ahead of their next encounter.
