86'		RED CARD!!! ROBERGE SHOWN HIS MARCHING ORDERS! The former Sunderland player is shown a straight red card for stamping on Calvert-Lewin while the youngster was on the ground. The Everton players were incensed by his actions, but the referee dealt the situation and the visitors will finish with 10 men.

80'		Rooney involved again as he receives the ball and lets fly from 30 yards. There is plenty of ferocity in his effort and Vale does well to hold on to it.

		Meanwhile, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on for Sandro, whose wait for a goal goes on.

		EVERTON LEAD!!! VLASIC PUTS THEM IN FRONT! A clever touch from Sigurdsson releases the 19-year-old in behind the defence, and he makes no mistake in sliding home his first goal for the club. 2-1!

43'		Everton turning up the pressure and are awarded a free-kick right on the edge of the area. Sigurdsson stands over the ball and whips his delivery past the wall, but Vale is able to punch away.
41'		GREAT EFFORT! Davies works some space and goes for goal with a bending long-range effort that forces Vale to spring across and tip the ball to safety.
39'		Meanwhile, Apollon have lost each of their last five group stage away fixtures in Europe. The stats are pointing towards an Everton victory, but they count for nothing once the players get out on the pitch.
36'		It is worth noting that the Toffees have won each of their last four home matches in European competition, so will be desperate to continue that run today.
33'		Honours even as the clock ticks down towards the end of the first half at Goodison Park. Everton have the upper hand now but, as they have already found out, they cannot afford any complacency here.
30'		CLOSE! Williams embarks on a strong run forward from centre-half before laying the ball off for Rooney on the edge of the box, and the former England captain's curling effort is not too far away from nestling in the far corner.
28'		There are some worrying signs for the hosts on the injury front, though. Rooney has struggled since an Apollon defender accidentally trod on his hand, while Sandro and Baines have also been limping in the last couple of minutes.
25'		CHANCE! Everton push in search of a second goal in quick succession and the ball drops kindly for Sigurdsson, whose volley is well held by Vale.
24'		That will have settled Everton down, but they have been let off the hook far too easily by their opponent. Only Yuste knows what he was thinking when he played that pass back to his goalkeeper, but the hosts will not be complaining.

19'		Everton are struggling to flow at the moment. Gueye tries to make something happen by attempting a one-two with Rooney on the edge of the box, but the return pass is a poor one and Apollon deal with the danger.
16'		NOT FAR AWAY! Vasiliou tries his luck with a 30-yard volley after the ball breaks kindly for him, and his effort is not too far wide of the far post with Pickford struggling.
15'		Well, that was not in the script! Apollon ruthlessly punished Williams' mistake and Goodison Park is stunned, as the Cypriot side hold an unlikely lead.

		Maglica put his cross on a sixpence for Sardinero to attack.
		APOLLON LEAD!!! SARDINERO PUTS THEM IN FRONT! Williams' loose pass is picked up by Maglica, whose cross finds an unmarked Sardinero in the box. Pickford denies the striker but the ball falls into his path once more, and he knocks it into the empty net.
10'		Pickford's punt downfield evades the entire Apollon defence and Rooney looks to latch onto the dropping ball, but is just unable to this time.
7'		The hosts are playing a high defensive line and have almost been caught out on a couple of occasions by their opponents. Although, the final pass has let them off the hook both times.
4'		It is a fairly subdued Goodison Park today. Everton will be looking for their fans to urge them on and continue their recent resurgence.

		Following the 3-0 defeat by Atalanta on matchday one, this is already a must-win game for Everton ahead of their first-ever meeting with Cypriot opposition in Apollon, who claimed a credible draw against Lyon two weeks ago.

Youngster Jonjoe Kenny gets his chance ahead of Cuco Martina at right-back, while Tom Davies replaces Davy Klaassen in central midfield and Sandro Ramirez is given the nod in attack with Dominic Calvert-Lewin dropping to the bench.
