Duffy is playing as a centre-forward now for Brighton but it looks to be in vain as time has almost elapsed.
90' +3
D. Gosling enters the game and replaces J. King.
A third and final change now for Bournemouth as Dan Gosling comes on in place of King to help see out the remaining seconds.
90' +2
CLOSE! Ibe arguably deserves a goal in this game and he very nearly gets one as he steps up to take the free-kick and drills a low, right-footed shot narrowly wide of the right-hand post.
90' +1
We’re into the first of four minutes of added time now as Dunk brings down King just inches outside his own penalty area, handing Bournemouth a free-kick in an extremely dangerous area.
90'
Arter wins a free-kick following a foul by Propper just inside the Brighton half and Bournemouth, who look extremely comfortable, will take their time to run down the clock.
88'
Eddie Howe is still barking instructions to his side from the edge of his technical area, making sure they don’t let their concentration levels drop in the remaining minutes.
86'
March swings in a dangerous corner from the left-hand side and it bounces through the middle of the area before arriving at the feet of Rosenior on the edge of the box, but the right-back fails to get the ball out of his feet properly and can only send his shot comfortably over the bar.
84'
Nearly an opening for Izquierdo as Francis and Begovic both leave the ball for each other as it bounces towards the Bournemouth penalty area, but the substitute isn’t quick enough to react and Begovic eventually takes control and comes out to gather it in.
82'
Brighton had looked to well organised until those two quick Bournemouth goals, but they look far less comfortable now they’re behind as Izquierdo runs the ball out for a goal kick, drawing huge cheers from the home fans.
80'
Ibe has largely been used as a winger in his Bournemouth career so far but he looks to be playing in the middle at the moment, with King also having dropped a little deeper to make a 4-5-1 formation for the home side.
Minute
Description
78'
B. Afobe enters the game and replaces J. Defoe.
Bournemouth are also making their second change, and Defoe leaves the field to a standing ovation from the home fans as Benik Afobe comes on in his place.
77'
G. Murray enters the game and replaces P. Groß.
And the first step is to make a double substitution, with Glenn Murray coming on to replace Gross in the first of those changes.
Club record signing Jose Izquierdo also comes on to replace Knockaert.
76'
J. Izquierdo enters the game and replaces A. Knockaert.
75'
Brighton may well have to change the way they play now as they haven’t needed to chase the game at all so far.
73'
J. Defoe has scored a goal for AFC Bournemouth! Assist by J. Ibe.
Ibe collected the ball after the initial corner was cleared to him, and he resisted the urge to shoot himself before playing the ball into Defoe to score what could be a vital goal in Bournemouth’s season.
GOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! Defoe opens his Bournemouth account!! Ibe has turned the game on its head since coming on, this time feeding a neat pass into Defoe with the outside of his boot and the striker turns and shoots in one movement, firing a powerful low effort past Ryan and into the bottom corner.
71'
CHANCE FOR IBE!! The ball breaks for Ibe 15 yards out from goal and the winger fires a powerful low shot towards the bottom corner, only for Dunk to slide across and make a crucial, goal-saving block which deflects the ball up and over the bar.
69'
Ibe hasn’t really found his feet since joining Bournemouth from Liverpool, but Eddie Howe will be hoping that moment can kick-start his Bournemouth career as well as his side’s season.
67'
A. Surman has scored a goal for AFC Bournemouth! Assist by J. Ibe.
That moment was Ibe’s first involvement in this game and it was a delightful pass which put Surman through on goal.
GOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!! The substitution works wonders for Bournemouth as Ibe plays a neat back heel into the path of Surman inside the box, and the midfielder cuts past the sliding Dunk before side footing the ball into the bottom corner.
65'
J. Ibe enters the game and replaces R. Fraser.
Eddie Howe’s making his first change now in an attempt to get his side back into this game. Jordon Ibe is the man coming on in what looks to be a straight swap for Fraser, who’s been pretty quiet in truth.
64'
Not for the first time today Bournemouth work the ball nicely across the edge of the box and wide to Daniels, but his cross evades King and Defoe in the middle and Ryan watches it sail out of play on the far side.
61'
Frustrations are really starting to grow for the Bournemouth players now and Francis very nearly gifts Gross a chance on goal as he slips on the edge of his own penalty area. Fortunately for the home side he manages to retain possession and regain his balance though.
59'
That goal has changed the complexity of this game as it’s now Brighton who look the more comfortable side, as referee Pawson waives away appeals for handball against Smith from March’s cross.
57'
Eddie Howe looks a little concerned on the edge of his technical area, unlike the Brighton fans who are in full voice now.
55'
S. March has scored a goal for Brighton & Hove Albion! Assist by P. Groß.
GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLL!!!! March puts Brighton ahead!! Gross gets half a yard of space on the right-hand side and whips a delightful cross into the middle of the penalty area, where March is waiting to head home his first Premier League goal from six yards out.
Gross was allowed far too much space by Daniels, but the cross was an excellent one nonetheless.
54'
Bournemouth looked pretty comfortable at the back in the first half, but Eddie Howe will be concerned by those chances for Brighton, as it was the same defensive errors on both occasions which allowed Duffy and Stephens to go close.
52'
OFF THE LINE THEN OFF THE BAR!! Duffy pulls away towards the back post from the corner and sees his header back across goal headed off the line by Surman, before Brighton get another corner almost immediately which is headed against the underside of the bar by Stephens.
50'
March gets away from Smith with a lovely turn close to the left-hand touchline, but the right-back shows his speed to recover well and block the winger’s cross out for a corner.
48'
Despite that early half-chance for Brighton, Bournemouth look to have settled into this second half in a similar fashion to which they played the majority of the first.
46'
Kick-off! Brighton get the second half underway.
Knockaert gets in behind the Bournemouth defence inside the right-hand edge of the penalty area and picks out March at the back post with a looped cross, but the winger is unable to generate any power on his header and Bournemouth clear the ball away.
45'
King does have space ahead of him now as he picks up possession midway through the Brighton half, but as with earlier in the half, Dunk gets out to him quickly to make a good block on the shot and prevent Ryan from being called into action.
43'
Once again Pugh gives the ball away on the edge of the Brighton penalty area as he’s surrounded by the yellow and green shirts of Brighton players. Bournemouth look as though they’re ready for half-time as they’re becoming increasingly frustrated.
41'
Bournemouth knock the ball around inside the Brighton half for over a minute but the away side remain extremely well organised and disciplined in defence, forcing Bournemouth to play a pass into the box which wasn’t really on, giving the ball away in the process.
39'
Smith is brought to ground close to halfway by Knockaert, who unsurprisingly isn’t too impressed with the decision. Craig Pawson isn’t interested in his protests though.
37'
Rosenior may have done well to prevent King from getting in on goal moments ago, but the right-back is allowing Daniels far too much space on that flank at the moment.
35'
Now King skips away from Duffy and into the penalty area, forcing Liam Rosenior to come inside and help his centre-back out, knocking the ball out for a corner which eventually comes to nothing.
33'
That half-chance for Defoe appears to have given the Bournemouth players and fans a lift and Daniels and Adam Smith are finding plenty of space in wide areas just at the minute.
31'
Close, and close again! This game has all of a sudden come to life as first, Davy Propper sees his ambitious chip float narrowly over the bar from 20 yards out, before Defoe comes within a couple of feet of opening his Bournemouth account with a well struck shot on the turn at the other end.
29'
For the second time in the game Duffy gives the ball away to King and once again his defensive teammates have to cover to prevent the Norwegian striker playing Defoe in on goal.
27'
Arter’s influence is certainly growing on this game and he has half a yard of space inside the Brighton half to drive into, but Dale Stephens stands his ground and makes a good tackle before Knockaert draws a small cheer from the travelling fans with an audacious piece of skill close to halfway.
25'
Eddie Howe is patrolling the edge of his technical area, making notes on a small scrap of paper he has just pulled from his pocket. He won’t be too disappointed with his side’s start to the game but he will certainly be looking for more creativity in the final third.
23'
Daniels does look as threatening as anyone in a Bournemouth shirt though and he tests Ryan with a well struck 25 yard effort from the left-hand side, although it is never likely to trouble the Australian who holds onto the ball above his head.
22'
Bournemouth may be seeing more of the ball but this game really hasn’t got going yet. Both sides look a little too cautious going forward to throw too many bodies into the opposition half.
20'
Close!! The best chance of the game so far falls to Bournemouth as Arter picks out Daniels on the left-hand edge of the penalty area and he then pulls back a low cross for Pugh, but the midfielder can only fire his effort wide of Ryan’s goal from 18 yards out.
17'
Ake and Simon Francis are seeing plenty of the ball for Bournemouth at the moment, but Chris Hughton won’t mind that too much as his side look well organised and are preventing Bournemouth from getting into the box.
15'
Nearly a costly error at the back for Brighton as Shane Duffy gifts the ball straight to Josh King 25 yards out from goal, but the centre-back’s defensive partner, Dunk, does well to block the striker’s powerful shot.
13'
Bournemouth have certainly settled into this game quicker than their opponents and look the more comfortable in possession, but they’ve so far failed to offer any threat to Mathew Ryan’s goal.
11'
Harry Arter follows Knockaert in ignoring support around him and going for goal from distance, but the Republic of Ireland midfielder fires his left-footed effort high over the bar.
9'
Brighton have their first opportunity to attack the Bournemouth goal now as Anthony Knockaert skips away from Daniels with a lovely piece of skill before driving infield onto his favoured left foot, but he ignores the support of Solly March and goes for goal onto to drag his low, 25-yard effort, wide of the goal.
8'
Marc Pugh is bundled to ground 25 yards out from the Brighton goal but referee Pawson waives play on and the away side get the ball up towards Tomer Hemed on halfway, but the striker is unable to get to the ball and Nathan Ake regains possession.
6'
Bournemouth work the ball patiently across the back four before eventually spreading it wide to Ryan Fraser on the right-hand touchline, but having driven inside his cross is a poor one and Lewis Dunk volleys it away from danger.
4'
The home fans are certainly making plenty of noise inside the Vitality Stadium in the early stages. They will know how important it is for their side to make a good start to this game.
2'
A bright start for Bournemouth as Charlie Daniels twice gets into space down the left-hand side, but he’s unable to pick out Jermain Defoe with a cross on either occasion and Brighton clear the ball away.
1'
Kick-off! Referee Craig Pawson blows his whistle and Bournemouth get the game underway.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League game between Bournemouth and Brighton and Hove Albion at the Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth have made a woeful start to the season, losing all four of their opening games, scoring just one goal in the process.
Although two of those losses have come at the hands of Manchester City and Arsenal, Eddie Howe will know that another defeat today would leave them facing a relegation battle, despite being less than five weeks into the season.
Brighton also made a slow start to their first ever Premier League campaign, losing to Manchester City and Leicester City in their opening two games before earning their first point with a 0-0 draw at Watford.
They followed that up with a 3-1 win over West Brom in their last outing, securing their first top flight victory for over 30 years and giving themselves a huge confidence boost ahead of this south coast derby.
Eddie Howe makes three changes to the Bournemouth side that was beaten by Arsenal last time out, with Simon Francis, Andrew Surman and Marc Pugh coming in as Howe reverts to a 4-4-2. Steve Cook, Tyrone Mings and Dan Gosling are the men who make way.
Brighton meanwhile make just one change, as Liam Rosenior replaces club captain Bruno, who has been ruled out with a back injury.
The two sides have never faced each other in the top flight of English football before, however they did meet twice in the Championship in 2015, with Bournemouth winning on both occasions.
The players are making their way out onto the pitch, kick-off is not far away now.
Half-time: Bournemouth 0-0 Brighton and Hove Albion
Bournemouth have dominated possession and controlled territory for the majority of that first half, but they’ve failed to create any meaningful openings against an extremely well organised Brighton side, with Defoe’s 20-yard effort which flew a couple of yards wide, the closest they have come.
This game could well be decided by a single goal, and Eddie Howe may not waste too much time in turning to the likes of Benik Afobe and Jordan Ibe on his bench in the second half, while Chris Hughton will be hoping his side can remain resolute in defence and perhaps grab a goal on the break.
Full-time: Bournemouth 2-1 Brighton and Hove Albion
It’s all over at the Vitality Stadium and Bournemouth have ended a four-game losing streak to get their first win of the season, thanks in part to Jordon Ibe, who came off the bench to set up goals for Andrew Surman and Jermain Defoe after Solly March had given Brighton a second half lead with his first Premier League goal. That’s all from us for tonight, thanks for joining us and we hope you can join us again.
