Juventus pile plenty of bodies forward as they desperately try to carve out one final chance on goal, but Higuain's run through the Sampdoria back line is slightly mistimed and the linesman's flag is quickly raised. That should be that.
90' +4
P. Dybala has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by Douglas Costa.
Assist Douglas Costa de Souza
GOAL! Juventus have pulled back another one! Dybala charges through the Sampdoria half of the pitch on a brilliant, marauding run before reaching the penalty area, where he rifles an excellent strike past Viviano and into the bottom right-hand corner of the net. They now have just under two minutes to find an equaliser!
90' +3
Chance for Linetty! Really good play by Sampdoria almost results in them re-establishing their two-goal lead, but Linetty can't quite hit the target with his thumping strike from just inside the penalty area that fizzed marginally wide of the near post.
90' +1
Penalty goal scored by G. Higuaín for Juventus!
GOAL! After plenty of pushing, shoving and arguing, Higuain eventually steps up and calmly slots a well-taken strike into the bottom right-hand corner of the net. Game on? Probably not.
Ramirez kicks the ball away from the penalty spot just as Higuain gets ready to take it and, unsuprisingly, is shown a yellow card for dissent. The Sampdoria players still aren't at all happy with the referee's decision.
90'
G. Ramírez gets yellow.
The fourth official has indicated that there will be five minutes of added time.
89'
PENALTY! A curling cross into the Sampdoria penalty area is a poor one and is easily cut out by Strinic. The full-back's first touch is heavy, however, and knocks the ball into the path of Costa, who rushes towards the ball and is caught by a swinging leg from the Croatian. The Sampdoria players aren't happy, but the penalty is quickly given!
88'
Juventus are enjoying a decent spell of possession after winning the ball back from Sampdoria, but, as has been the case for most of the afternoon, they're really struggling to do much with it. The hosts have defended incredibly well and are now just a few minutes away from picking up three well-earned points.
86'
Sampdoria are almost playing with Juventus as they confidently move the ball around deep inside the reigning champions' half of the pitch. The visitors look absolutely bereft of confidence, and they're struggling to complete even the most simple of passes.
84'
G. Caprari enters the game and replaces F. Quagliarella.
Caprari immediately gets involved in the thick of the action as he battles his way along the edge of the Juventus box. He then pokes the ball back to Verre, who quickly unleashes a rocket of a shot that's deflected behind for a corner.
83'
Quagliarella receives a rousing round of applause from the home fans as he's replaced by Gianluca Caprari for the final seven minutes of the game.

And now Costa goes close! Tricky, impressive footwork from Costa sees the Brazilian skip past two defenders before managing to get a shot away, but Viviano does really well to save his effort with his legs at the near post. Sampdoria hold on once again!
81'
Chance for Dybala! The Argentine carves out some space for himself as he darts towards the Sampdoria penalty area. He then manages to get a shot away from 20 yards out, but his effort is blocked by Mandzukic before it can test Viviano. That pretty much sums up Juventus' miserable afternoon!
80'
B. Matuidi enters the game and replaces M. Pjanić.
Juventus have made a third and final change, with Blaise Matuidi coming on to take the place of Pjanic.
79'
G. Ferrari has scored a goal for Sampdoria! Assist by F. Quagliarella.
That was really good play by Quagliarella to peel away from his marker before setting up Ferrari, but, once again, Juventus were all over the place defensively and were made to play for their sloppiness.
GOAL! Sampdoria have scored another! This time it's Juventus' inability to defend a free-kick that results in them falling even further behind. A curling cross easily picks out Quagliarella at the far post, and the striker then pokes a pass across the face of goal to set up Ferrari to blast in from close range. That was far too easy!
78'
Juventus pile plenty of bodies forward once again as they try to carve out a chance on goal, but sloppy passing inside the Sampdoria penalty area denies Costa the chance to either get a shot away or pick out a team-mate.
76'
Dybala steps up and unleashes a curling strike that goes in search of the top right-hand corner of the net, but it's slightly overhit by the Argentine and fails to hit the target.
75'
K. Linetty gets yellow.
Dybala is presented with the ball in a promising position just outside of the Sampdoria penalty area, but he's immediately clattered into by Linetty and has to settle for a free-kick. It's in a dangerous position, and he looks almost certain to shoot himself...
74'
V. Verre enters the game and replaces É. Barreto.
Sampdoria have brought on Valerio Verre to replace Edgar Barreto as they try to hold on to their two-goal lead.
72'

Juventus have made another attacking switch as they try to find a way back into the game, with Cuadrado making way for Douglas Costa.
71'
L. Torreira has scored a goal for Sampdoria! Assist by G. Ramírez.
Ramirez did well to put the ball on a plate for Torreira after the number 34 had been left in far too much space. Juventus fell asleep once again and were made to pay for poor defending.
GOAL! Sampdoria have doubled their lead! Zapata and Quagliarella link up really well on the edge of the Juventus box before the latter nods the ball down to Ramirez. The Uruguayan quickly sets up Lucas Torreira, who storms onto the ball and rifles an excellent strike straight into the bottom left-hand corner of the net. What a fantastic strike!
70'
Almost a perfect opportunity for Cuadrado! Juventus hit Sampdoria on a blisteringly quick counter-attack through Higuain, who screams down the left wing on a brilliant run. He then tries to pick out Cuadrado, who is all alone inside the penalty area, but his pass across the face of goal is poorly hit and fails to find the Colombian.
68'
Ramirez does well to muscle his way past three Juventus players before setting up Zapata over on the left-hand side of the visitors' box. The striker powers his way towards the byline and then crosses, but his low pass is deflected behind for a corner that's well met by Mandzukic.
66'
What a chance for Khedira! A wonderful cross from Cuadrado sails into the hosts' penalty area and perfectly picks out Mandzukic, who cushions the ball down towards Khedira. The German runs onto it and looks set to test Viviano, but the Sampdoria goalkeeper is there to smother the danger with a great piece of goalkeeping.
65'
Asamoah gets himself into a promising position over on the left flank and quickly whips a curling cross into the middle of the Sampdoria box. Higuain does well to get a head on it, but he can't hit the target and sends his effort bouncing wide of the far post.
63'
S. Khedira gets yellow.
G. Ferrari gets yellow.
Two great opportunities for Juventus to equalise! A low pass is fizzed across the face of goal by Lichtsteiner and deflects into the path of Mandzukic, who looks set to score but can't quite reach the ball. He's just about able to spin and find Dybala, who also shoots but has his effort blocked by a sea of blue shirts.
Khedira cynically drags back Gaston Ramirez as the Uruguayan tries to kick-start a quick counter-attack and beomces the latest Juventus player to be booked.
Yellow card Gianmarco Ferrari
62'
P. Dybala enters the game and replaces F. Bernardeschi.
Juventus have made their first change of the game, with Paulo Dybala coming on to replace Bernardeschi.
61'
It looks as if Massimiliano Allegri is going to look to his substitutes' bench as Juventus try to find a way back into the game. They're struggling to break down a determined Sampdoria back line, and they desperately need a creative spark in the final third of the pitch.
59'
D. Rugani gets yellow.
Sampdoria try to hit Juventus on another counter-attack after winning back possession, but Zapata is cynically fouled by Rugani as he darts down the left wing and the defender is shown a yellow card.
58'
Bernardeschi goes down inside the penalty area, but nothing is given! The attacking midfielder does well to keep the ball in play deep down the right flank before cutting inside and penetrating the penalty area. He then throws himself to the ground under a challenge from Ferrari, but there was no contact whatsoever and he's told to get back to his feet.
57'
Excellent goalkeeping by Szczesny! After dealing with the danger, Sampdoria burst forward on an impressive counter-attack through the middle of the pitch. Zapata is set up just inside the box and quickly gets a shot away, but Szczesny rushes out to smother the danger with a smart save.
55'
Almost a great chance for Juventus! Miralem Pjanic's cross in from the set-piece is a brilliantly placed one and manages to find Higuain at the far post, but the big striker can't quite pick out a team-mate in front of goal with his downward header and Sampdoria hold on once again.
54'
F. Quagliarella gets yellow.
Quagliarella flies into Mandzukic and catches the Croatian with a high and late challenge out wide, resulting in a free-kick for Juventus in a promising position. Can they make it count and find a way back into the game?
52'
D. Zapata has scored a goal for Sampdoria!
GOAL! Sampdoria have taken the lead! The home side put plenty of pressure on the Juventus back line, and the reigning champions can't handle it. A poor attempted clearance from Bernardeschi flies up into the air and over to Zapata, who easily gets the better of Lichtsteiner before guiding a lovely header into the top right-hand corner of the net.
51'
And now Rugani goes close! The cross into the box is a good one and manages to pick out Rugani, who rises high and manages to reach the ball but can't quite hit the target with his looping headed effort.
50'

48'
Cuadrado darts down the right flank as he tries to get a cross away, but he's unable to find a way past Strinic and has to settle for a corner. The set-piece is a decent one but fails to cause too many problems for Sampdoria, who easily deal with the danger.
46'
We're underway once again!
45' +2
Space opens up in the middle of the pitch, allowing Bernardeschi to charge forward on another marauding run. He then sets up Cuadrado to fire a cross into the penalty area, where it deflects off Strinic and away from danger. The Juventus players immediately scream for a penalty, but the referee isn't at all interested and waves play on.
45' +1
Thumping shot by Sami Khedira! Bernardeschi, who has found some joy over on the right wing, cuts inside quickly and sends a curling cross right onto the head of Mandzukic. The Croatian quickly nods the ball down to Khedira and sets up the midfielder to shoot, and his rocket of a strike misses the near post by only a few yards.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.
44'
Strinic does well to hold off Cuadrado over on the left flank before easily spinning round the Colombian. He then sprints down the wing before delivery a dangerous ball into the box, where Giorgio Chiellini does well to clear the danger with a towering header.
42'
Cuadrado patiently makes his way inside from the right wing as he tries to pick out a pocket of space in front of him. He eventually finds Higuain and tries to pull off a quick one-two with the Argentine, but he's unable to reach the return pass and the home side hold on once again.
40'
Space opens up in the middle of the pitch, allowing Juventus to pile plenty of bodies deep inside the Sampdoria half of the pitch. Bernardeschi is set up over on the right-hand side of the box and quickly crosses, but plenty of blue shirts are there at the near post to make sure Higuain can't latch onto the ball in front of goal.
38'
Another attempted Juventus attacking move breaks down due to good defending from Sampdoria, but the home side aren't able to turn their impressive work into a chance on goal as a Bereszynski cross safely bounces into the hands of Szczesny at the near post.
36'
Juventus are looking increasingly determined as the half wears on and the break nears. They're putting plenty of pressure on the Sampdoria back line as they desperately try to find a way in front, but the hosts are doing well to largely keep them at bay.
34'
Almost an opportunity for Mandzukic! Juventus come back once again through Kwadwo Asamoah, who swings a brilliant cross into the heart of the Sampdoria penalty area. The Croatian throws himself towards the ball, but he's put off by Gianmarco Ferrari and can't quite reach the cross.
33'
A Sampdoria corner fails to come to anything and Juventus counter-attack once again. They initially show good speed to break down the left flank through Higuain, but Cuadrado spends far too long on the ball and allows the home side to get plenty of bodies back to deal with the danger.
32'
What a miss by Cuadrado! More great play by Juventus results in a chance on goal for Cuadrado after the Colombian is set up by a perfect Higuain pass. The winger is a few yards away from goal and only has Viviano to beat, but somehow he ends up blasting a rocket of a shot wide of the far post. He really should have buried that!
30'
Almost a wonderful goal scored by Mandzukic! The game has started to become much more open now that both sides are piling bodies forward. This time it's Cuadrado who darts down the right flank before curling a cross over to Mandzukic, who pulls off an acrobatic scissor-kick that's well blocked by both Bereszynski and Silvestre.
29'
Good play by Quagliarella sees him hold up the ball on the edge of the Juventus penalty area before teeing up Linetty. The substitute immediately sets up Zapata to nod the ball down towards Barreto, who tries to spin and shoot but can't get his feet sorted quickly enough.
28'
K. Linetty enters the game and replaces D. Praet.
Praet still isn't looking too comfortable after initially making his way back onto the pitch, and he's been forced off to be replaced by Karol Linetty.
27'
Higuain scores, but it's ruled out for offside! After winning back the ball, Lichtsteiner immediately fires a lofted pass through the Sampdoria back line and towards Higuain. The striker does brilliantly well to pick up the ball and charge into the box before rounding Viviano and scoring, but the linesman's flag brings a premature end to his celebrations.
26'
The game gets underway once again and Sampdoria quickly try to push forward. They move the ball around nicely before a looping cross is launched in the direction of Zapata, but it's slightly overhit and the Colombian can't quite reach it ahead of Lichtsteiner.
24'
There's a brief break in play after Praet goes down off the ball. The Belgian midfielder doesn't look to be moving too well after receiving a blow, but he should be able to continue after a few minutes on the touchline.
22'
More good play by Bernardeschi sees him get the better of Strinic out wide once again. He skips past the Sampdoria full-back and then fires a bouncing cross into the box, but it's slightly underhit and fails to pick out Higuain at the far post.
20'
Chance for Quagliarella! An attempted Juventus attacking move fails to come to anything, allowing Sampdoria to counter-attack quickly. Bereszynski charges down the right flank before picking out Quagliarella with a curling cross over to the edge of the penalty area, but the striker can't quite hit the target with his first-time volley.
18'
Bernardeschi picks up the ball in a decent position over on the right wing and quickly spins round Strinic with a lovely piece of skill. He then darts towards the box and tries to chip a pass through to Higuain, but Silvestre is there to cut out the danger with his chest.
16'
Sampdoria are able to enjoy a decent spell of possession after space opens up in the middle of the pitch, but Edgar Barreto's lofted pass into the Juventus penalty area is poorly hit and sails straight into the hands of Wojciech Szczesny.
14'
F. Bernardeschi gets yellow.
Bernardeschi charges into Ivan Strinic and brings the full-back crashing to the ground, resulting in a yellow card for the attacking midfielder and a free-kick for Sampdoria. It's sent short and worked over to Dennis Praet, who also receives a hefty challenge that leaves him in a heap on the floor.
12'
Higuain manages to get a shot away from just inside the Sampdoria box, but it's well blocked by Matias Silvestre and the striker has to settle for a corner. The set-piece is launched over to the edge of the penalty area and picks out Juan Cuadrado, who quickly shoots but can't hit the target with his first-time volley.
10'
Another lofted pass is fired deep into the Juventus half of the pitch and just about manages to pick out Fabio Quagliarella deep down the right flank. The striker does well to keep the ball in play before blasting a cross towards Zapata, but the ball curls behind before it can find the Colombian and the visitors are awarded a goal-kick.
8'
Zapata makes a darting run into the Juventus box as he tries to latch onto a lofted pass forward from Bartosz Bereszynski, but he can't quite get the better of Stephan Lichtsteiner and is beaten in the air by the Swiss full-back.
6'
Good play by Juventus sees Mario Mandzukic cut inside from the left wing and carve out a pocket of space for himself on the edge of the hosts' penalty area. He then manages to get a shot away, but his low strike is underhit and makes life easy for Emiliano Viviano.
4'
A frantic start to proceedings also sees Duvan Zapata almost manage to get an early shot away after slightly sloppy play by Juventus inside their own half of the pitch, but Daniele Rugani is just about able to poke the ball away from the striker before he can penetrate the box.
2'
What a chance for Gonzalo Higuain to open the scoring! Federico Bernardeschi threads a lovely pass through the Sampdoria back line and picks out Higuain, who shoots from just inside the penalty area before pokes his deflected shot just wide of the far post.

We're off! Sampdoria get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Serie A game between Sampdoria and Juventus at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Serie A’s return after the international break brings together two sides that find themselves in impressive form. Sampdoria have enjoyed an excellent start to the season and have already managed to open up a four-point gap over AC Milan with two games in hand, with Marco Giampaolo doing a great job to build on the promise showed during the last domestic campaign.
Inter are the only side to have beaten Sampdoria in their last five league outings, with Genoa, Chievo, Crotone and Atalanta all being comfortably swatted aside by the in-form Blucerchiati. Their impressive goalscoring form (they’ve found the back of the net 16 times during that period, their best run of form since January 1998) means they’ll no doubt be feeling full of confidence heading into today’s big clash.
As for Juventus, they haven’t looked quite as dominant this season but remain within touching distance of league leaders Napoli thanks to four consecutive victories. Last month’s defeat against Lazio was their first at home in the league since August 2015, but it seemed to spur them into action, as they remain unbeaten across all competitions since then.
Like Sampdoria, Juventus have proved themselves to be a free-scoring outfit once again, with their goalscoring tally of 35 putting them one ahead of an impressive Napoli side. Paulo Dybala started the season in excellent form and bagged himself 10 goals from his first six league outings, but just one in his previous six games means he has to settle for a place on the substitutes’ bench today.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Meanwhile, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has made six alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Mattia De Sciglio, Alex Sandro, Claudio Marchisio, Blaise Matuidi, Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa making way for Stephan Lichtsteiner, Kwadwo Asamoah, Sami Khedira, Miralem Pjanic, Federico Bernardeschi and Mario Mandzukic, respectively.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
Marco Giampaolo has decided to make only one change to the Sampdoria side that win against Genoa just before the international break, with Edgar Barreto coming into the starting line-up to replace Karol Linetty.
HALF-TIME: SAMPDORIA 0-0 JUVENTUS
So far, so good for Sampdoria, who have sat deep and defended well against a Juventus side that have dominated possession but struggled to do much with it. The home side have remained resolute and well-organised at the back, where their opponents have been forced into firing largely speculative balls into the box. Cuadrado has struggled to make much of an impact in wide areas, although Bernardeschi's bright movement has represented a positive for the reigning champions.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: SAMPDORIA 3-2 JUVENTUS
Blimey, what an end to the game that was! Juventus had performed pretty abysmally for most of the game but suddenly found some form late on. The introduction of Dybala made a big impact and helped them score two late goals, but in the end it wouldn't be enough to leave the Luigi Ferraris with anything but regrets.
Sampdoria, on the other hand, thoroughly impressed throughout the afternoon and deserve all three points. The win has moved them two within two points of fifth-place Lazio, and they'll be feeling extremely confident about their chances of beating Bologna in their next league outing before they host Lazio in a huge clash at the start of December.
