We're underway in this contest.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Bournemouth and Chelsea at Dean Court.
Bournemouth have had a successful week, beating Stoke to claim their second win of the Premier League campaign. Eddie Howe's men defeated Middlesbrough in the League Cup to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition. Now they have a challenge on their hands to maintain their strong run of form against Chelsea.
The Blues have also had a positive week, bouncing back from back-to-back defeats in the Premier League. Antonio Conte's men looked in trouble at 2-1 down against Watford at home. However, they fought back to claim a 4-2 win with Michy Batshuayi notching a brace from the bench. They continued their form into the League Cup, dispatching Everton to reach the last eight of the competition.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Chelsea subs: Caballero, Drinkwater, Willian, Batshuayi, Cahill, Christensen, Ampadu.
Howe made a number of changes to his side during the week for their League Cup triumph. He has reverted back to the Premier League side that defeated Stoke last time out, with two changes. Jermain Defoe starts ahead of Jordon Ibe, while Lys Mousset makes way for Steve Cook as the Cherries shift to a 3-4-3 formation.
Chelsea made alterations to their side that beat Everton from the team that beat Watford. From their last Premier League outing, Conte makes one change to the team. Gary Cahill drops to the bench as Davide Zappacosta comes into the line-up, with Cesar Azpilicueta dropping into the back three.
FLASHBACK! Chelsea eased past Bournemouth in this fixture last season as goals from Eden Hazard, Marcos Alonso along with an own goal from Adam Smith secured the win, despite Josh King putting the Blues under pressure with a first-half strike.
STAT ATTACK! Chelsea have won four of their five previous away games against Bournemouth in all competitions.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
There will be a minute's silence in the final round of Premier League matches before Remembrance Sunday.
FULL-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 0-0 CHELSEA
Chelsea have been knocking on the door in the first half, but have not managed to find the breakthrough against Bournemouth. Alvaro Morata should have put his side ahead on two occasions - first firing wide of the post the being denied by a good save from Asmir Begovic. The Blues have played nice football, but have lacked the clinical edge that served them well during their run to the Premier League title last season. The Cherries have been resilient thus far and Eddie Howe will be desperate for that to continue.
FULL-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 CHELSEA
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Chelsea get the win this evening without being at their fluent best against Bournemouth. The Blues missed a host of good chances in the first half, but Eden Hazard's predatory instincts decided the contest as he pounced on Simon Francis' mistake and fired past Asmir Begovic. The Cherries were full of effort, but were not good enough in the final third, mustering just one effort on target in the 90 minutes.
